Exegesis
The phrase ho oun agnoountes eusebeite {ὃ οὖν ἀγνοοῦντες εὐσεβεῖτε | hó oûn ag-no-ûn-tes eu-se-beî-te} ‘which therefore you worship without knowing’ contrasts the Athenians’ genuine reverence with their lack of true knowledge.
