The causal infinitive clause dià tò diatetachénaí Kláudiôn chōrízhesthai pás-tas toús Ioudaíous apó tês Rhṓmēs {διὰ τὸ διατεταχέναι Κλαύδιον χωρίζεσθαι πάντας τοὺς Ἰουδαίους ἀπὸ τῆς Ῥώμης | dià tò diatetachénaí Kláudiôn chōrízhesthai pás-tas toús Ioudaíous apó tês Rhṓmēs} explains why they had come, with Claudius as the infinitive subject and chōrízhesthai governing both ‘all the Jews’ and ‘from Rome’.
