21. Formal Translation
But after bidding them farewell and saying, “I will return to you again, if God {Theos, Sovereign Guide} is willing,” he set sail from Ephesus.
21. Dynamic Translation
After saying goodbye, he told them, “I will come back to see you again, if God {Theos, Caring Planner} wants me to,” and then he left by ship from Ephesus.
