Exegesis

Two future verbs—desousin {δήσουσιν | dḗ-sou-sin} ‘they will bind’ and paradosousin {παραδώσουσιν | pa-ra-dṓ-sou-sin} ‘they will deliver’—state the outcome with certainty, with hoi Ioudaioi {οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι | hoi I-ou-daî-oi} as the subject of both, located by en Ierousalem {ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ | en Ie-rou-sa-lḗm} and resulting in eis kheiras ethnon {εἰς χεῖρας ἐθνῶν | eis kheî-ras eth-nôn}.
