39. Formal Translation
But Paul said, “I am a man, a Jew from Tarsus in Cilicia, and a citizen of no insignificant city. I beseech you; allow me to speak to the crowd.”
39. Dynamic Translation
Paul replied, “I am a Jew from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of a city that is anything but ordinary. Please permit me to address these people.”
