The participle paranggeilas {παραγγείλας | pa-rang-geí-las} functions circumstantially, “having instructed,” governing the dative tois kategorois {τοῖς κατηγόροις | toîs ka-tē-gó-rois} and the infinitive legein {λέγειν | lé-gein}, directing the accusers to state their charges.
