Exegesis
Direct speech begins with the double vocative andres adelphoi {Ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί | Án-dres a-del-phoí} “men, brothers,” which both acknowledges the male assembly and stresses fraternal solidarity with them as fellow Jews.
