Exegesis
Each item in the series is governed by the repeated preposition eis {εἰς | eis}, so that Paul denies wrongdoing “with respect to” three domains: first, the Jewish law in the phrase eis ton nomon tōn Ioudaion {εἰς τὸν νόμον τῶν Ἰουδαίων | eis tón nómon tōn Ioudaíōn}; second, the Jerusalem temple, eis to hieron {εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν | eis tó hierón}; and third, the Roman political authority, eis Kaisara {εἰς Καίσαρά | eis Kaísara}.
In context — Acts 25:8
As Paul was making his defense, he said, “Neither against the law of the Jews nor against the temple nor against Caesar have I committed any offense.”
