| 20. Formal Translation But to those in Damascus first, and also in Jerusalem and all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, I was declaring that they should repent and turn to God {Theos, Repentance Receiver}, doing works worthy of repentance. |
| 20. Dynamic Translation Instead, I proclaimed first to the people in Damascus, then in Jerusalem, throughout all Judea, and even to the nations, that they must change their hearts and turn to God {Theos, Merciful Restorer}, demonstrating deeds that are consistent with repentance. |
