Exegesis
The narrative then shifts to a new subject, pasai hai chērai {πᾶσαι αἱ χῆραι | pâ-sai hai khê-rai} ‘all the widows,’ described by two coordinating participles, klaiousai {κλαίουσαι | klaí-ou-sai} ‘weeping’ and epideiknymenai {ἐπιδεικνύμεναι | e-pi-deik-ný-me-nai} ‘showing,’ which depict their grief and the presentation of Dorcas’s handiwork.
