6. Formal Translation Thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Holy Judge}: “For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not revoke it, because they sell the righteous for silver, and the needy for the price of sandals.” |
6. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Sentence Executor} declares: “For three crimes of Israel, even for four, I will not relent, because they sell the innocent for money, and the poor for a pair of sandals.” |
