Begin by naming the request or decision clearly before God. Ask him for a listening heart, a fair way to weigh what is being asked, and the patience to wait for his timing. Then surrender the outcome to his wisdom.

Pray Before You Decide

Pray for leaders who must hear requests carefully; for people who are waiting through a season of testing; for fairness instead of suspicion; and for truth to be shown clearly in the right time.

For People Under Evaluation

Father, thank you that you are not careless with us, but listen with wisdom and test what is set before you. Thank you for fair care that does not rush to judge. Teach me to trust your timing and to treat others with the same patience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Patient Wisdom

Lord, grow in me a listening heart, a steady mind, and a patient spirit. Keep me from quick approval or quick dismissal, and make me faithful under every test, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
