4. Formal Translation And as he stands, his realm will be broken and divided toward the four winds of the heavens, but it will not go to his posterity nor continue under his rule, for his kingdom will be uprooted and granted to others beyond these. |
4. Dynamic Translation As soon as he arises, his empire will be shattered and split in four directions across the heavens, but it will not belong to his descendants nor remain under the same authority, because his empire will be taken away and given to others besides them. |
