Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Daniel 11:7:1 ⧉וְעָמַ֛דveamad{And} shall arise Daniel 11:7:2 ⧉מִנֵּ֥צֶרminetserfrom a shoot of Daniel 11:7:3 ⧉שָׁרָשֶׁ֖יהָsharashehaher roots Daniel 11:7:4 ⧉כַּנּ֑וֹkanoin his place Daniel 11:7:5 ⧉וְיָבֹ֣אveyabo{And} shall come Daniel 11:7:6 ⧉אֶל־הַחַ֗יִלelhakhayilagainst the army Daniel 11:7:7 ⧉וְיָבֹא֙veyabo{And} shall come Daniel 11:7:8 ⧉בְּמָעוֹז֙bemaozinto the stronghold Daniel 11:7:9 ⧉מֶ֣לֶךְmelekhking of Daniel 11:7:10 ⧉הַצָּפ֔וֹןhatsafonthe north Daniel 11:7:11 ⧉וְעָשָׂ֥הveasa{And} shall act Daniel 11:7:12 ⧉בָהֶ֖םvahemagainst them Daniel 11:7:13 ⧉וְהֶחֱזִֽיק׃vehekhezik{And} shall prevail |
7. Formal Translation And one shall arise from a branch of her roots in his place, and he shall come to the army, and he shall enter the fortress of the king of the north, and he will act against them and will prevail. |
7. Dynamic Translation But from a branch of her roots someone will take his place, and he will advance on the forces, enter the stronghold of the king of the north, fight against them, and secure the victory. |
