35. Formal Translation Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors, and the wind carried them away so that no place was found for them. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. |
35. Dynamic Translation Then the iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold shattered at once and turned into dust like husks from the summer threshing floors. The wind carried them away until not a trace remained. But the stone that struck the statue grew into a huge mountain and filled the entire world. |
