49. Formal Translation And Daniel requested from the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon. However, Daniel sat at the gate of the king. |
49. Dynamic Translation Daniel asked the king for a favor, and the king placed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in charge of the province of Babylon. Daniel, however, sat at the king’s gate. |
