Use the season to look spiritually strong

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that my heart has gone its own way. I turn from my sin and from trying to rule my life myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me, make me new, and give me a heart that belongs to you. Amen.

Give Me a New Heart

Lord, revive your Church where pride has made us hard and self-sufficient. Give us humble hearts, clear minds, and a deeper love for truth. Keep us from living like people ruled by appetite and pride; make us teachable and faithful before you again. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your People's Hearts

Father, I confess the places where my thinking has grown stubborn, self-protective, or untamed. Change what is not like you, and keep me from resisting your correction. Teach me to welcome your shaping hand. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Change What Is Untamed in Me

Name the season you are in, ask God for a teachable heart, and surrender the timing you cannot control. Then ask for one obedient step that fits today, not the whole future.

Praying Through an Appointed Season

Bring to God your fear of waiting, your frustration with delay, and the grief of feeling changed by things you did not choose. Ask for peace while the season passes over you and for strength to remain faithful.

Peace for the Long Waiting

Pray about: where pride is shaping your decisions; what it would look like to receive correction quickly; how to live wisely while God works in his time.

A Humble Way Forward
