Exegesis
The purpose clause ʿad-dibrat dî yindəʿûn ḥayyēʾ {עַד־דִּבְרַת דִּי יִנְדְּעוּן חַיֵּא | ʿaḏ-dibraṯ dî yindəʿûn ḥayyēʾ} “for the matter that the living may know” uses Peal imperfect to express volitional knowledge by all living.
The relative clause di šallîṭ ʿillāyāʾ {דִּי שַׁלִּיט עִלָּיָא | dî šallîṭ ʿillāyāʾ} “that the Most High rules” presents divine sovereignty as ongoing.
