The clause veisseva ketorin lakh yetaamun {וְעִשְּׂבָא כְּתֹורִין לָךְ יְטַעֲמוּן | wə-ʿis-sə-bāʾ kə-ṭō-rîn lāḵ yə-ṭa-ʿa-mûn} combines an adverbial comparison (ketorin “like oxen”) with an imperfect verb “they will make eat,” portraying an ongoing, imposed animal-like diet.
