27. Formal Translation
Therefore, O king, may my counsel be pleasing to you; break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by acts of mercy to the poor; perhaps there will be a lengthening of your tranquility.
27. Dynamic Translation
Therefore, Your Majesty, please accept my advice: turn away from your sins by doing what is right, and from your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Then perhaps your prosperity will continue.
