Treat it as interesting but not personally important

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and gone my own way. I need your mercy, because I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Receive me, forgive me, and lead my life. Amen.

Come to the Lord Who Speaks Truly

Lord, revive your church to take your word seriously. Where we have heard warning and brushed it aside, bring repentance; where we have grown careless, restore reverence; where we have delayed obedience, give us prompt and humble hearts. Make us a people who live as though your word will surely stand, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Hear and Turn

Father, thank you that what you speak is true and what you warn about is not empty. Teach me to trust your word, even when it humbles me, and to rest in your faithfulness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for a True Word

Lord, when your correction touches my life, keep me from pride and denial. Give me a teachable spirit, quick repentance, and the courage to change, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
