12. Formal Translation Because an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding, along with the ability to interpret dreams and solve riddles, were found in him—in Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar—now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation. |
12. Dynamic Translation This was because Daniel—whom the king called Belteshazzar—was found to have an extraordinary spirit, knowledge, and insight. He could interpret dreams, explain difficult problems, and solve riddles. Call for Daniel, and he will reveal the meaning. |
