He can predict what will happen from dreams

Use the insight to help others clearly, even if it does not increase your status

Wait to use the gift only when it will improve your reputation

Keep the insight private so no one can challenge you

Use the insight mainly to gain a higher position

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live by my own wisdom. I need the truth only you can give. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Lead me in your truth and make me new. Amen.

Come to Jesus for Truth

Lord, revive your church to be a people who can handle hard questions with wisdom and humility. Where we have chased applause more than truth, forgive us; where we have hidden our gifts or used them for ourselves, set us right. Make us useful to those who need understanding, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People in Humble Wisdom

Father, thank you for every gift of understanding, for minds that can read carefully, explain clearly, and help untie hard knots. Teach me to use what you have given me with gratitude and care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Gifts That Help Others

Name one confusing issue, ask God to show you what is true, and ask for the courage to explain it plainly to the person who needs it.

Pray for Clarity in a Hard Matter

Pray for leaders, teachers, and counselors who face hard problems: that they would speak truthfully, avoid pride, and use their insight to serve others well.

For Leaders Who Answer Difficult Questions

Father, guard me from using insight to gain status. Give me a heart that values truth more than honor, and let every gift you give me point back to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
