Come to You in My Restless Night

Lord, revive your Church where we have become too distracted to fast, wait, or weep. Give us hearts that care enough to set aside comfort, seek you deeply, and stand with the hurting. Teach us to bear one another's burdens with prayerful faith, and wake us up to your presence again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Holy Burden

Father, when my mind will not settle and sleep feels far away, help me bring my burden to you instead of escaping into noise. Give me quiet trust through the long night, and meet me with your steady peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Rest for a Burdened Night

Pray for kings, leaders, parents, pastors, and anyone carrying weighty responsibility: that they would not hide behind distractions, but would seek God honestly, make wise choices, and rest in him when worry keeps them awake.

For Leaders Who Cannot Easily Rest

Thank God for his nearness in sleepless hours, for strength when appetite is gone, and for the grace to sit with hard things without being abandoned by him.

Thankful for God in the Long Night

Begin by naming the burden plainly before God. Set aside one distraction for the evening, ask him for the grace to wait honestly, and keep speaking short prayers until your heart grows still.
