Lord, revive your Church so that we honor Christ as King in our words and conduct. Where we have become careless, arrogant, or harsh, teach us the grace and dignity of Daniel. Make us a people who bless others, speak with wisdom, and carry your peace into the presence of power, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Speak With Honor Again

Father, thank you for Daniel's calm and respectful reply. Thank you that your people are not trapped by fear when they must speak before others. Give us grace to answer with honor and trust you with the outcome, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Respectful Words

When you face someone with authority, begin by remembering that God is above all earthly power. Ask for a quiet heart, choose words that honor truth, and pray for the other person's good before you speak.

Pray Before You Answer

Pray for leaders, judges, parents, teachers, employers, and all who bear authority: that they would hear wise and humble speech; that those under them would answer with courage and respect; and that peace would govern difficult conversations, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Leaders and Those Under Them

Lord, help me answer with calm respect when I am under pressure. Guard my tongue from contempt, my heart from fear, and my words from cruelty. Let me speak blessing rather than bitterness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
