Daniel 6:25:1וַאֲמַ֣רvaamar{And} said
Daniel 6:25:2מַלְכָּ֗אmalkathe king Daniel 6:25:3וְהַיְתִ֞יוvehaitiv{And} brought Daniel 6:25:4גֻּבְרַיָּ֤אguhvrayathe men Daniel 6:25:5אִלֵּךְ֙ilekhthese Daniel 6:25:6דִּֽי־אֲכַ֤לוּdiakhaluwho had eaten Daniel 6:25:7קַרְצ֙וֹהִי֙kartsohihis pieces Daniel 6:25:8דִּ֣יdithat Daniel 6:25:9דָֽנִיֵּ֔אלdanielDaniel Daniel 6:25:10וּלְגֹ֤בulegovand to the pit of Daniel 6:25:11אַרְיָוָתָא֙aryavatalions Daniel 6:25:12רְמ֔וֹremothrew Daniel 6:25:13אִנּ֖וּןinunthem Daniel 6:25:14בְּנֵיה֣וֹןbenehontheir sons Daniel 6:25:15וּנְשֵׁיה֑וֹןuneshehonand their wives Daniel 6:25:16וְלָֽא־מְט֞וֹvelametoand they did not reach Daniel 6:25:17לְאַרְעִ֣יתlearitto the bottom Daniel 6:25:18גֻּבָּ֗אguhbaof the pit Daniel 6:25:19עַ֠דaduntil Daniel 6:25:20דִּֽי־שְׁלִ֤טֽוּdishelituthat they had power over Daniel 6:25:21בְהוֹן֙vehonthem Daniel 6:25:22אַרְיָ֣וָתָ֔אaryavatathe lions Daniel 6:25:23וְכָל־גַּרְמֵיה֖וֹןvekholgarmehonand all their bones Daniel 6:25:24הַדִּֽקוּ׃hadikucrushed
25. Formal Translation
Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: “May your peace increase.”
25. Dynamic Translation
Then King Darius issued a proclamation to every people, nation, and language throughout the earth: “May peace abound among you.”
