24. Formal Translation Then the king commanded that they bring the men who had accused Daniel and cast them, their sons, and their wives into the lions’ den. Before they reached the bottom, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones. |
24. Dynamic Translation The king ordered the men who had accused Daniel to be brought and thrown into the lions’ den, together with their wives and children. Before they reached the floor, the lions attacked them and shattered their bones. |
