The Hiphil wayyiqtol vayashlikhehu artsah {וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵהוּ אַרְצָה | wa-yaš-lî-kê-hu ’ar-ṣāh} ‘he threw him to the ground’ followed by vayirmesehu {וַיִּרְמְסֵ֔הוּ | wa-yir-me-sê-hu} ‘he trampled him’ conveys utter humiliation.
