The direct object mispar ha-shanim {מִסְפַּר הַשָּׁנִים | mis-pār ha-šānîm} ‘the number of the years’ is clarified by the relative clause asher hayah devar-YHWH el-Yirmiyah ha-navi {אֲשֶׁר הָיָה דְבַר־יְהוָה אֶל־יִרְמִיָה הַנָּבִיא | ʾă-šer hā-yāh də-var Yə-hō-wāh ʾel-Yir-mi-yāh han-nā-ḇî} ‘which was the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet.’
