16. Formal Translation And I commanded your judges at that time, saying, “Hear between your brothers, and you shall judge righteousness between a man and his brother and between him and his sojourner.” |
16. Dynamic Translation I instructed your judges at that time, “Listen carefully to disputes among your people, and make fair decisions whether one person is in conflict with his brother or with a foreigner living among you.” |
