הַכֵּה{ha-KEH###hah-KEH###you shall strike} תַכֶּה{ta-KEH###tah-KEH###striking} אֵת־יֹשְׁבֵי{ET-YO-shvei###EET-YOH-shveh-ee###the inhabitants} הָעִיר{ha-IR###hah-EER###of the city} ההוא{ha-HU###hah-HOO###that} הַהִיא{ha-HI###hah-HEE###that (feminine)} לְפִי־חָרֶב{le-FI-KHA-rev###leh-FEE-KHAH-rehv###with the edge of the sword} הַחֲרֵם{ha-kha-REM###hah-kha-REHM###you shall devote (to destruction)} אֹתָהּ{o-TAH###oh-TAH###it} וְאֵת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּהּ{ve-ET-KOL-a-SHER-VAH###veh-EET-KAAL-a-SHEHR-VAH###and all that is in it} וְאֵת־בְּהֶמְתָּהּ{ve-ET-be-hem-TAH###veh-EET-beh-hem-TAH###and its livestock} לְפִי־חָרֶב׃{le-FI-KHA-rev###leh-FEE-KHAH-rehv###with the edge of the sword}
