Exegesis

The participle sone {שֹׂנֵא | sō-nêʾ} ‘hates’ combined with lereʾehû {לְרֵעֵהוּ | lə-rê-ʿê-hû} ‘to his neighbor’ forms a circumstantial clause that expresses deliberate animosity.
