25. Formal Translation
For when you have children and grandchildren and have grown old in the land, and you act corruptly and make an idol, a likeness of anything, and you do evil in the sight of the LORD your God {Yahweh Elohecha, Righteous Judge}, to provoke Him to anger.
25. Dynamic Translation
When you have children and grandchildren and have lived for a long time in the land, if you become corrupt and make any kind of idol and do what is wrong in the sight of the LORD your God {Yahweh Elohecha, Covenant Guide}, you will provoke Him to anger.
