15. Formal Translation I reflected within my heart, “The outcome that befalls the fool will befall me as well; therefore, why have I become wiser than others?” Then I spoke in my heart that this too is vanity. |
15. Dynamic Translation I said to myself, “If the senseless one meets the same end as I, what purpose is served by becoming wiser than anyone else?” Then I concluded in my heart that this too is meaningless. |
