15. Formal Translation When the appointed time was fulfilled for Esther, daughter of Aminadab, the brother of Mordecai’s father, to enter the king’s presence, she requested nothing except what the eunuch, the guardian of the women, commanded. Esther found favor in the eyes of all who saw her. |
15. Dynamic Translation When it was Esther’s turn to go before the king—Aminadab’s daughter, from Mordecai’s father’s family—she asked for nothing beyond what the eunuch in charge of the women directed. Esther won everyone’s favor as they looked at her. |
