17. Formal Translation And the king was enamored of Esther more than all the women, and she found favor before him more than all the virgins; and he set the royal diadem upon her head. |
17. Dynamic Translation The king’s love for Esther surpassed that for any other woman, and she received greater favor before him than any virgin. So he placed the diadema on her head. |
