20. Formal Translation Esther did not reveal her homeland, for thus Mordecai had commanded her to fear God {Theos, Object of Reverence} and to obey his commandments, and just as Esther had been with him, she did not change her conduct. |
20. Dynamic Translation Esther kept her homeland secret because Mordecai had instructed her to fear God {Theos, Supreme Authority} and to follow his commandments, and just as she had been with him, she did not change her behavior. |
