21. Formal Translation
In those days the two eunuchs of King Artaxerxes, the chief bodyguards, were distressed when Mordecai was promoted, and they sought to kill King Artaxerxes.
21. Dynamic Translation
During that time, two of King Artaxerxes’ chief bodyguards became upset when Mordecai was promoted, and they plotted against King Artaxerxes.
