8. Formal Translation Mordecai gave him the copy of the written decree issued in Shushan for their destruction, to present it to Esther and to explain it to her, and to direct her to go to the king to beg his favor and to request on behalf of her people. |
8. Dynamic Translation He also handed him a copy of the decree’s text issued in Shushan for their annihilation, to show it to Esther and clarify it to her, then urged her to go to the king to plead for his favor and to request help for her people. |
