25. Formal Translation But when it came before the king, he ordered in writing that the evil scheme which he had devised against the Jews should return on his own head, and they hanged him and his sons on the tree. |
25. Dynamic Translation When the matter came before the king’s presence, he issued written orders that Haman’s evil plan against the Jews would turn back on his own head, and they hanged him and his sons on the gallows. |
