27. Formal Translation
The Jews confirmed and undertook upon themselves, their descendants, and all who joined them, that these two days should not lapse but be observed according to their written decree and their appointed time, year after year.
27. Dynamic Translation
The Jews bound themselves, their descendants, and all who joined them, that they would observe these two festival days each year without fail, in accordance with their written regulations and at the appointed times.
