Exegesis

The conjunction ki introduces the causal clause with be-yad chazaqah {בְּיָד חֲזָקָה | bə-yā-ḏ ḥa-za-qā(h)} “with a strong hand,” leading to the Hiphil perfect hotsiakhah YHWH {הוֹצִיאַךָ יְהֹוָה | hô-ṣī-ʾā-ḵā yə-hō-wāh} “he brought you out, the LORD.” The parallelism of sign–purpose and reason clauses underscores the connection between divine instruction and liberation.
