| 15. Formal Translation When the sons of Israel saw it, they said each man to his brother, "What is it?" because they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, "It is the bread which the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Provider} has given you to eat." |
| 15. Dynamic Translation When the Israelites saw it, they asked one another, "What is this?" because they did not recognize it. Moses said to them, "This is bread that the LORD {Yahweh, Gracious Sustainer} has given you to eat." |
