| 28. Formal Translation And if an ox gores a man or a woman and the person dies, the ox shall surely be stoned, its flesh shall not be eaten, but the owner of the ox shall be declared innocent. |
| 28. Dynamic Translation If a bull gores a man or woman to death, the bull must be stoned and no one may eat its meat. The owner is not held responsible. |
