| 29. Formal Translation But if the bull is a goring animal, and it has been testified to its owners, and they have not kept it guarded, and it kills a man or a woman, the bull shall be stoned, and its owner shall be put to death. |
| 29. Dynamic Translation However, if the ox is known to be dangerous, and its owners have been warned, but they have not kept it under control, and it kills someone, then the ox must be stoned, and its owner must also be executed. |
