19. Formal Translation The officers of the sons of Israel saw that they were in distress when it was declared, “You shall not reduce from your bricks the daily quota for any day.” |
19. Dynamic Translation The Israelite overseers saw that they were in trouble when they were told, “Do not decrease your brick output for the workday; you must deliver the full amount each day.” |
