29. Formal Translation Moses said, “Behold, I am departing from you, and I will petition the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Judge}. Tomorrow the swarm will be removed from Pharaoh, from his officials, and from his people. Only let Pharaoh cease to deal deceitfully by refusing to send the people to sacrifice to the LORD.” |
29. Dynamic Translation Moses replied, “As soon as I leave you, I will ask the LORD {Yahweh, Plague Remover} to remove the swarm of flies from Pharaoh, his servants, and his people by tomorrow. But Pharaoh must not act deceitfully by refusing to let the people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD.” |
