Exegesis

The imperfect yihyu {יִהְי֥וּ | yi-hyū} and the adverb ʿôd {ע֛וֹד | ʿôḏ} anticipate a reversal of fate, with limtsudah {לִמְצוּדָ֑ה | li-mə-ṣū-ḏāh} “prey” specifying the intended ruin.
