| 18. Formal Translation Even if these three men were in its midst, as I live—declares the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Sovereign Master}—they would not deliver sons or daughters; only they themselves would be delivered. |
| 18. Dynamic Translation If these three men were found there, as surely as I live—says the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Ruling Judge}—they could not save sons or daughters; they would be saved only by themselves. |
