| 22. Formal Translation Thus says the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Sovereign Master}: I Myself will take from the top of the lofty cedar and set it; from the top of its young twigs I will pluck a tender {raḥ: soft, delicate} one, and I Myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain. |
| 22. Dynamic Translation This is what the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Supreme Ruler} says: I will personally take a fresh shoot from the very top of the tall cedar and plant it Myself; from the highest of its young branches I will pluck a tender one and plant it on a high and prominent mountain. |
